These Terms of Service apply when you visit www.kupukids.co.nz, purchase from Kupu Kids, download our digital resources, or otherwise use our website and services.
By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Kupu Kids creates educational resources designed to support tamariki, whānau, educators and schools in learning and using te reo Māori.

Kupu Kids offers both physical printed products and digital products.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device. Printed products may also have minor variations resulting from the printing and production process.
We reserve the right to update, modify or discontinue products and resources at any time.
When you place an order through Kupu Kids, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is complete and accurate, including your email address and delivery address.
Once an order has been placed, we may not be able to change or cancel it if processing or fulfilment has already begun.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where there has been an obvious pricing error, suspected fraudulent activity or an issue affecting our ability to fulfil the order.
If we cancel an order that you have already paid for, we will refund the applicable amount.
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on our website at the time of purchase.
Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be successfully completed before an order is processed.
Prices, promotions and product availability may change without notice.
Printed products will be delivered to the address supplied during checkout.
Please ensure your delivery information is correct before submitting your order.
Delivery timeframes provided by Kupu Kids or our delivery partners are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Delays caused by courier networks, weather, public holidays or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally occur.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact kiaora@kupukids.co.nz as soon as possible.
Returns and refunds for printed products are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy and applicable New Zealand consumer law.
Digital products are supplied electronically and do not include a physical product unless specifically stated in the product description.
Because digital products are delivered electronically, purchases of digital products are generally non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged, except where required by law.
You are responsible for ensuring you have suitable software, equipment and printing facilities where required to use your digital purchase.
If you experience a technical problem accessing your files, please contact kiaora@kupukids.co.nz and we will assist where reasonably possible.
Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, purchasing a Kupu Kids digital product gives you a limited licence to use that resource for personal, household or individual educational use.
For teachers and educators, purchased resources may be used within your own classroom for the students you personally teach.
Your purchase does not transfer ownership of the artwork, design, illustrations, written content or intellectual property contained within the resource.
Digital Kupu Kids products must not be:
Resold or redistributed
Shared publicly or uploaded to file-sharing platforms
Shared with other teachers, classrooms, schools or organisations unless the applicable licence permits this
Copied for commercial resale
Altered and sold as another product
Used to create products for sale
Uploaded to websites, social media, resource libraries or other platforms for others to download
Represented as your own work
Schools or organisations wishing to use a resource across multiple classrooms should contact kiaora@kupukids.co.nz regarding appropriate licensing.
Unless otherwise stated, all content available through Kupu Kids, including:
Illustrations
Artwork
Educational resources
Printable materials
Product designs
Written content
Branding
Logos
Graphics
Photography
Website content
is owned by or licensed to Kupu Kids and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a Kupu Kids product does not give you ownership of the intellectual property associated with that product.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative commercial products from Kupu Kids content without prior written permission.
Kupu Kids takes care in developing its educational resources, including resources containing te reo Māori and content relating to Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our resources are intended as educational tools and should be used alongside the professional judgement of parents, caregivers and educators.
We may update or correct educational content where appropriate.
You agree not to use the Kupu Kids website:
For unlawful or fraudulent purposes
To interfere with the operation or security of the website
To attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
To copy, scrape or systematically reproduce website content without permission
To infringe Kupu Kids' intellectual property rights or the rights of another person
